Review of my best makeup

Hi everyone,

In this blog post I wanted to do a review of my best makeup that I like to use ranging from foundation to lipstick. This is so you can see what I like to use and you can see if you maybe want to try out some of the products yourself.

So for my first product that I think is the best is my Rimmel London Match Perfection liquid foundation. This particular brand I really love as it gives 24 hour moisture hydration and a pore blurring effect which does create a smooth skin look. I think this is a really great product to buy and I’m a very pale skinned so I chose the light porcelain skin tone.  It’s a great product and definitely worth having a look at!

image

My next product is face powder, now I tend to use loose powder as it does look good with the liquid foundation but it is up to you what you choose to use. The powder I use is PS…Love Loose Face Powder and this again is a very light skin tone colour. I tend to use this product to set the liquid foundation  on my face and to make the other products I use last longer. As you can tell I’ve nearly used all of it up I like it that much.

image

My next product is my concealer which is by the MakeUp Gallery and is their Hide and Chic natural coverage concealer.  I have this in Ivory 1 and it’s really good for blending around the eyes and gives them a brighter look. I use this product a lot as well especially if I’m in a rush.

image

My next product is my contouring kit, which comes with two colours to contour with. This is by Collection and is a highlight and sculpt kit. I really love this as it does create that amazing contoured look on your face as well as a sparkly highlight that does brighten your face. I don’t mind using glittery highlight as it does look good with my other products, but if your not a fan and only want to use the darker shade to contour,  it does work well as a great light eyeshadow.

image

The next product that I love to use is my eyeshadow palette, which is by Lula and Belle Cosmetics. Now I got this palette quite a while ago for Christmas and it has so many shades that I’ve still got some to use now! I really love this palette as this has so many colours to choose from and they do last a while.

image

My next product is my eyeliner which is another product by Rimmel London and is their Glam Eyes Professional liquid liner. I really love this as it gets my flick on point and lasts for a long time. It’s an amazing product and the best eyeliner liner I’ve used so far.

image

The next product is my mascara, which is another product by P.S.Love… This is a great mascara as it is Ultra Volumising and really does make your eyes look thicker and longer, almost giving that fake lash effect look, but with your own lashes.

image

My final product that I love using is my final product by P.S.Love… and is in the colour berry blitz. This is a great colour of lipstick especially for the fall season as it goes great with the red and yellow colours, as well as dark browns.

image

So these have been some of my products that I love to use and my review of them. If any of these sound like something you would like to use then go and check them out, I love using them and they do look great on!

Keep staying awesome!!!!!

Experimenting with Eyeliner

Hi everyone,

For this blog post I wanted to do eyeliner as I absolutely love trying to do the different styles around my eyes. I do like doing the classic wing and many others love doing this too. So I thought for this post I’m going to show you my different eyeliner attempts!

So for my first attempt I thought I would show the classic wing many women like doing and I have to say it’s my favourite too. The type of eyeliner I use is a liquid but I do have pencil and have had gel liner before. I do like using liquid even though it can be messy, there are different options so you do have to play around with the different styles to find the right one for you.

image

I love how it just flicks at the end it really does make your eyes look longer.

My next attempt I decided to do my classic look, I like doing this as the flick is slightly thicker. It looks great as an everyday look and works well with all different eyeshadows.
image

I then tried a more feline look, the wing is sharper and the line is thinner around the eye making it a sharp smooth look. I would wear this for everyday or going out it does suit everything and I really love how good it looks.
image

I then tried a double wing and linked it with the previous line I had already done. I simply added a separate line from my lower lash line. This would be a good going out look but you could wear it whenever.
image

For this line I made it much more thicker and therefore adds drama to the eye. As well as that I made the line longer which is difficult to see in the picture but it is. This eyeliner looks great when going out, especially with browns or/and gold eyeshadow.
image

This is a more bolder, yet shorter winged eyeliner, but for this eye I decided to use my forest green eyeliner. On the picture it’s difficult to tell as it is a dark green, but it does look really good on. I wear this look sometimes everyday if I want a bolder eye.
image

For this eye I decided to experiment more and made a very thick, dramatic wing which definitely stands out. This look is very eye catching, but does use a lot of eyeliner. I have to say I wouldn’t personally wear this look a lot, but it would look pretty good with a fancy dress outfit.
image

This is my final eyeliner look and for this style I used blue glitter liquid eyeliner and it looks really cool on. I love wearing this as it’s really colourful and different. This would be great for going out and is really glittery.
image

So these are my different eyeliners that I tried out and as I said before I really do love experimenting with the different looks that you can create. It also depends on the eyeliner you want to use and how you apply it. I normally draw my liner by free hand, but you can use tape, templates and many more techniques you just have to find the best one for you.

This has been another of my posts, hope you like it and remember to stay awesome!!!

Trick or Treat

Hi everyone,

Now I bet most of you will be excited for Halloween, which is tomorrow!! I enjoy this time of the year as the leaves are just falling of the trees and turning orange, yellow and red it’s amazing.  But of course I love Halloween whether it’s the trick or treating around neighbourhood, or going to Halloween parties or even staying at home and having your own mini party of eating sweet treats and  watching movies. I think all three are great!

There will also be some last minute buying for pumpkins, food, decorations and even costumes. I luckily finished getting my last pieces for my costume yesterday, but if your still looking sometimes little things can make a great outfit, especially fake blood.

Now in my previous blog I mentioned I would be going as a zombie Princess Peach so I have focused a lot on finding out the best zombie looking makeup that would be perfect. For my ideas I turned to pinterest as that has the most creative ideas for everyone.  I also know that I needed to make it look gory.

image

Here’s my gory hand makeup attempt.

There are some great tutorials on pinterest for scary makeup ideas. But here are some ideas I found that really let’s you play with makeup and are super easy to do if you want to only use makeup.

image

image

image

image

image

I found these ideas on pinterest so if you want more inspiration there are lots of cool ideas especially with makeup. I also attempted myself to create scratches since that would be on a zombie.

image

I love to experiment and Halloween is the best time and no matter what it can still look scary.

If you want to see my full outfit for Halloween check out my instagram @fashionfoxxcx and I will be posting my outfit and makeup.

I hope you all have a great Halloween and stay awesome!!

DIY Halloween

Hi everyone,

Sorry for this post being later than my others, but I just had to make sure that I was going to have everything for what I was going to talk about.

Now I know that Halloween is in the up and coming week and so I though I’d share with you my DIY Halloween  costume that I will be using for a party this Halloween. So for this year I have decided to go as Princess Peach, but not just any Princess Peach as it is Halloween I’m going to become a zombie  version of the Princess.

image

Here’s an image of her.

Some Halloween costumes and fancy dress costumes can be pretty expensive especially this time of the year when everyone dresses up. So I decided to DIY my costume, I first of all got a dress from Boohoo that is in a similar style and colour to Princess Peach and is a very pretty dress that would be great even after Halloween.

image

This dress was fairly cheap as well for only £8 and free delivery. Perfect if you don’t want to spend loads, but still have a great outfit to go out in.

Now the key part to Princess Peach is her crown and I have decided to make my own using materials I have.

STEP 1
First of all I got some card, which is  I took from a pizza tray as it was the right size. I also drew out a paper template which I could use to draw around.

image
STEP 2
Next I drew out all the pieces of the crown so that I could get ready to paint them, making sure to follow my template. Now if you don’t want to draw a template my free hand it’s best to get one from the Internet that will help give the best measurements.

image
STEP 3
I cut out all the pieces and made sure they were all a similar size. The great thing with Princess Peach’s crown is that as it is made to be quite small on her head you don’t have to draw out a massive crown for yourself.

image
STEP 4
I painted each of the pieces with gold paint which I had already. If you don’t want to use gold paint golden shimmer spray paint will do the same job just make sure you do it away from people and in a ventilated room.

image
STEP 5
I decided to cut out oval shape that takes up most of the crown, I used blue and red shiny card as they make it look like jewels. I then glued on gems around the crown making it similar to her crown.

image
STEP 6
Finally glue all the separate pieces together so that they will hold each of the card firmly together.
image

There you have it, your very own Princess Peach crown.

This would be a great idea for any fancy dress party especially if you don’t want to spend much money on actually buying the crown. You just simply need to use materials you have and if you do need to go out and buy some items make sure they don’t cost much.

Now I also have Princess Peach makeup that I think will go with my outfit and will keep a pink theme as that’s what she does wear. This look will go best with my outfit as it is pink just like Princess Peach.
image

But of course I will alter the look slightly as I will be making myself more like a zombie. I’m saving that design for Halloween, but I will share the full outfit together on my instagram on Halloween so that you can see the completed look. So please check it out @fashionfoxxcx to see what I have done.

Again I’m sorry for the late post, I will try to upload on a weekly basis. Thank you for reading and stay awesome!!

Fuller lips

Hi everyone,

I have been noticing that everybody recently have been changing their lips to look much more fuller and also making them appear ombre. Now I know Kylie Jenner is kinda the whole reason behind this and there is so many ways you can make your lips look fuller.

image

Kylie Jenner look

Kylie Jenner fuller lips and makeup.

image

This is my attempt in more neutral colours, the lighting not too great I can say though they didn’t turn out too bad and did look fuller. I followed a simple tips pin from pinterest to help me get started.

image

From pinterest.

I found this really useful and does help you to get fuller lips. I used my MaxFactor lip liner which is in the colour blush and Sally girl lipstick in the colour cuddle, that is in a pinky colour. It’s great for day makeup and once you know how to get fuller lips you can do it with any of your lip liners and lipsticks.

I also decided to experiment with other colours and designs including trying out ombre techniques.

image

I different colours of lipstick and this golden colour is so cool and very shiny, I wore it with my prom dress a few years ago and I still love it now. This colour is called Solid Gold and is from Nina Ultra Pro, they do some great lipsticks that really look amazing on.

image

I also tried this purple colour, which doesn’t look as deep on camera but does in person. This is great for the fall weather as it goes with the red eyeshadow. I also think that as it is coming up to Halloween would go create with a costume. This lipstick is by Estee Lauder and is called Wicked Wine.

image

This was my red lipstick which I think looks really bright and vibrant, I love this colour and is really shiny on. This lipstick is called Scarlet and is by P.S. Love… and is my favourite.

I also decided to experiment a little with a different red lipstick, this one is another by Nine Ultra Pro and is called Radiant Red. It is a stunning colour but I decided to give this a twist and added golden glitter to the bottom lip for a golden shine.

image

It shines a lot in the light and is great if you’re also experimenting like me and what something interesting to wear when you go out.

image

I did also experiment with an ombre look and attempted to make my lips a deep purple on the outside and a red on the inside.

I am also putting designs that you may want to try out that I have seen online. You should give it a go and take some stunning pictures with your experimental lip designs.

These images are from pinterest, if you want more designs that’s a great app for you to check out if you don’t already have it.

Hope you liked my lip designs and experimental lips, stay awesome!!

Shoes, shoes and more shoes!

Hi everyone,

So for this post I was gonna talk about shoes if you haven’t already guessed. Now I love my shoes so much I literally have loads that I have bought over the years, my shoes mean everything to me as theyjust complete my outfit for the day or if I’m going out at night. I just absolutely love them.

Now from my previous post you probably guessed I like boots and if you haven’t read that one please do, but I’ll say it again that I will wear my boots with any of my outfits as they just complete the look. However apart from boots I do wear pumps, converse trainers and high heels too.

As it is getting colder boots are more fashionable but also wearing woolly boots will keep your feet warmer too. As well as boots, trainers are also more suitable for the cooler weather if you don’t like wearing boots. Depending on what you are wearing will depend on the best shoes, I always found that over the ankle boots look great with skinny jeans the best, but wearing skirts with tights or a dress will also look good too. Somehow boots just seem to make your legs look longer and you are taller.

image

I love these as they look slightly like over the ankle cowboy boots and yet are still fashionable with whatever I wear.

Now if you prefer longer boots then these look great with some skinny jeans, but especially dresses such as turtle neck dresses that look wintry will definitely go with these boots.

image

These boots have killer heels and will look great with the wintry dresses and going out in, but not great for standing in for hours (I found that out), I do love them though.

My final type of boots are the ankle boots, but with these I made sure to get in an electric blue colour and I have to say they look the best for going out in. They are stylish and sophisticated and do work nicely with my skinny jeans.

image

I love these and they go great with my collection of electric blue items of clothing that I collect. They are amazing and very comfy to wear.

As you can see I do have a variety of shoes and that’s not even all of them. Whether your going out during the day or at night shoes are pretty key so you need to make sure they are comfy, but stylish with your outfit and you definitely need to wear them more than once (especially your best shoes).

Here are just some of my other shoes that I like wearing.

Hope this post was helpful and hope you liked my shoes for this blog. Keep reading and stay awesome!

Fall Fashion

Hi everyone,

So this is my first blog and I always wanted to have a go at this, but I was never sure what to do it on. However I thought that as its getting colder I would do a blog on the fall fashion for girls since that summer sun is almost gone for good. So this is going to be my first post and I know that there’s lots of other people talking about similar things but I want to give you a different opinions and ideas on what to do with fashion, makeup and more.

Now I know that as its getting colder you want to feel warmer and more wrapped up and for me wearing jeans, a simple t-shirt, a jumper and some trainers or boots is the best option. But you can also go for skirts and dresses with thick tights and even coats or woolly cardigans, you can’t forget to add accessories like scarves or beanies either if you want extra warmth.

I like to wear my boots with most of my outfits since they just seem to suit the colder weather and will go with anything you have to wear (they really will) and my favourite pair of boots have to be my tan, lace up boots that just absolutely suit the fall/autumn weather.

image

I will wear these as much as possible since I think they look great with just about anything, I also love the woolly part towards the top as it just adds to the boots and the rest of what I wear.

I also want to show just some outfits that will look great and are cheap to buy if your looking for something for this time of the year. I think the best website for clothes is Boohoo.com as it has great clothes for great prices.

image

image

These are just some of the clothes on Boohoo and would be perfect for the cooler weather that is on the way and even the winter weather.

I hope my first blog has been helpful about fall fashion and I will try to post weekly about other tips!
